MySpace Mobile provides access to the MySpace social media network. The app is currently available for Android smartphones and tablets. By downloading the app, an individual can access their MySpace account without having to use a web browser. They won't need to log onto a desktop or laptop to access this information, either. Being able to access an account on the go is quite convenient for users. Plus, it's possible to upload new photos or create a blog, among various other activities common on the social media platform.

MySpace Available In The Palm of One's Hand

The MySpace app doesn't take up too much space on a device. A lightweight and small app is hard to find these days. After installing the app, users can sign into their existing account, or they can create a brand new one. They're then presented with their MySpace profile and feed to view like they would on a computer. It's possible to share posts, edit blogs, upload photos, and comment on other users' content. Through the app, a user can complete most actions they're used to doing via desktop or laptop.

How Is MySpace Mobile In Day to Day Usage?

Most features of the app work as intended, similar to their desktop counterparts. Different pages load quickly, and performance isn't an issue with the app. In regular use, the app is lightweight and won't bog down a given smartphone. Users won't be bombarded with push notifications or pesky ads either. MySpace Mobile gets a lot of things right in its implementation. For that reason, it's easy to heap praise upon the app in its current form, but MySpace Mobile doesn't come without its issues.

First of all, the app is quite old and hasn't been updated in quite some time. MySpace Mobile won't launch on newer Android devices due to this lack of updates. Installing and launching the app on modern hardware results in error codes and crashes galore. Most users hoping to access the platform via mobile app will be quite disappointed here. Unfortunately, MySpace hasn't been committed to the app for quite some time, so it's mostly unusable at this point with no solution in sight.

MySpace is a mostly dying social media platform anyways. It has since rebranded itself as a music platform without much success. In the future, we might see a revamped mobile app released, but users shouldn't hold their breath. MySpace Mobile used to be a more than decent app. The app is virtually useless in its current state, and only past users will remember all of the great features it used to offer.
